Review My Contract →About the Product
Inkvex is purpose-built legal AI for contract review at inkvex.app. Upload an APA, FDD, commercial lease, employment agreement for a retained employee, or any other deal-stage document and get back a risk score from 1 to 10, every red flag with the exact clause quoted, operator-readable explanations, and, with Searcher Sub or Deal Pack, negotiation points and cross-reference mapping. No installation required.
Self-funded searchers buying SMBs in the $1M to $10M enterprise value range, franchise buyers in the 14-day FDD cooling-off period, and commercial tenants signing 5 to 10 year leases. If you sign 10 or more high-stakes contracts in a single deal cycle, you are who this is built for.
Searcher Sub and Deal Pack are designed for the deep-reasoning work that 40 to 80 page APAs require. FDD Scan and Commercial Lease Review handle highly structured documents like FDDs and commercial leases at a lower cost. We do not claim to catch everything. The reports tell you when they are uncertain.
Asset Purchase Agreements (APAs), Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs), commercial leases, employment agreements for retained employees, broker NDAs, seller-financing notes, transition services agreements, and the related schedules and exhibits that come with them. Out of scope: complex IP assignments, patent applications, regulatory filings, and litigation pleadings.
About Pricing
Your first analysis is free with no account required. After that, you choose the SKU that matches your situation: Commercial Lease Review at $149 (3 uploads, 30 days), FDD Scan at $249 (3 uploads, 30 days), Searcher Sub at $99/mo or $990/yr (unlimited with a 10/day cap), or Deal Pack at $499 (unlimited with a 10/day cap, 90 days).
Free Trial, FDD Scan, and Commercial Lease Review reports produce a risk score (1 to 10), red flags with quoted clause language, operator-readable explanations, and jurisdiction-specific citations. Searcher Sub and Deal Pack reports add three sections on top: an executive deal verdict (sign / walk / negotiate summary), a cross-reference map that detects clause interactions across the document and schedules, and negotiation points benchmarked against the major deal-points studies (for M&A: the ABA 2025 Private Target Deal Points Study and SRS Acquiom 2026), with every figure citing its source and a clear "no market benchmark on file" when none applies.
FDD Scan and Commercial Lease Review include 10 Contract Chat messages for the reviewed document. Searcher Sub and Deal Pack include unlimited Contract Chat for clause interactions, negotiation framing, comparable deal points, and what-if walkthroughs.
Deal Pack ($499, 90 days, unlimited at 10/day) is built for the 60 to 90 day diligence window on a single deal. If you have a target under LOI and you know you will be reviewing 30 to 100 documents over the next quarter, Deal Pack is the math. Searcher Sub ($99/mo) is for active searchers who are evaluating multiple targets across a longer timeline and want unlimited Searcher Sub reports without a deal-specific window.
Yes. The credit on your FDD Scan applies. Email support@inkvex.app and we will adjust the difference.
Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe Link, and Cash App Pay on all SKUs. ACH on annual plans only. Klarna and Afterpay on Deal Pack only.
Yes. Cancel anytime from your account settings. No questions asked, no cancellation fees. You keep Searcher Sub access until the end of your billing period.
Yes. If your first paid purchase wasn't the right fit, email support@inkvex.app within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full. After that, Searcher Sub cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
About Use
Inkvex is a web application that runs in your browser at inkvex.app and works on Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android. No download required. If you want a one-tap shortcut, you can install it to your home screen (iOS Safari: Share, then Add to Home Screen. Android or desktop Chrome: Install from the browser menu).
PDF, Word (.docx), JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WEBP. Upload a digital document, drop in a Word file, or take a photo of a printed contract with your phone, and OCR runs automatically.
Under 3 minutes in normal load. Larger APAs may take a bit longer because Searcher Sub and Deal Pack reports walk the cross-reference map through every schedule.
Past analyses stay in your dashboard and remain readable. You just cannot upload new documents until you buy another Deal Pack or switch to Searcher Sub.
About ETA / Searcher Use
Yes. Broker NDAs, preliminary review of target financial statements (the contract pieces, not the QoE), and confidentiality agreements are all in scope. Searcher Sub is the right tier for active search work because LOI submission cycles are unpredictable.
Yes. SBA 7(a) loan packages, personal guarantees, UCC filings, and the related security agreements are in scope. Common SBA-specific red flags (cross-collateralization clauses, change-of-control triggers, unusual covenants) are flagged in the standard report.
No. QoE is a financial diligence exercise, not a legal-document analysis. Inkvex reads contracts. For QoE, hire a CPA who specializes in SMB acquisitions.
Unlimited within a 10/document/day cap. The cap exists to keep individual deals fair (a real searcher reviews 30 to 100 docs over 60 to 90 days, not 200/day) and is invisible unless you hit it.
About Franchise Use
Inkvex returns the 23-item structured FDD scan in under 3 minutes. A franchise attorney typically charges $1,850 to $2,750 for the same review and takes 4 to 6 hours of billable time. Use Inkvex first, then bring the report to your attorney with specific questions ready.
Yes. That is the primary use case. The FTC mandates 14 days between you receiving the FDD and signing the franchise agreement. Inkvex makes that window productive instead of overwhelming.
Yes. The franchise agreement (the binding contract you eventually sign) is reviewed against the disclosures in the FDD. Discrepancies between Item 17 (termination provisions) in the FDD and the actual termination language in the franchise agreement are flagged.
Privacy & Security
Saved analyses live in your dashboard until you delete them. Documents you do not save are discarded after 90 days. We never sell, share, or train AI models on your contracts.
Yes. Supabase handles authentication (bank-grade security), Stripe handles payments (PCI compliant), and the AI analysis runs on SOC 2 compliant infrastructure.
Never. Your contracts are not used to train any AI model. The analysis provider processes the document in real time and discards it immediately. We have no access to your contract after the analysis completes unless you saved it to your dashboard.
About Legal Boundaries
No on both. Inkvex is software, not a law firm, and it gives you legal information, not legal advice. Using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. Think of it as a first-pass diligence tool: it surfaces obvious red flags, missing protections, and unusual clause language so your M&A or franchise attorney spends their billable hour on the judgment calls that actually need a lawyer. Searchers run Inkvex first, then bring the flagged document to their attorney with specific questions ready.
No. Inkvex is software, not a human attorney service. We work with M&A and franchise attorneys to validate the analysis methodology, but the product itself is software.
You and your attorney. Inkvex is a tool that catches what tools can catch. The judgment calls (will this earnout structure actually pay out, is this seller truly indemnifying me, will the franchisor enforce the non-compete) require human counsel. Treat Inkvex as your first-pass diligence partner, not your final word.
